Architect, florentine by birth and milanese by adoption. She began her career as head of the Lighting Design Center of the Targetti Group. Afterwards she works for several years with the studio of Alessandro Mendini. In 1996 she established her own studio cristianavannini | arc , an interior design practice composed by a young and trendy team, providing client-focused high quality architectural services in various interior design fields, from hospitality to private houses, from workplaces to exhibit, events and retail. As a product designer she has consulted for lighting and furniture design companies as well as taking part in exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Among clients, information technology, mass market and real estate companies as well as cultural private and public institutions. Since 2003 she has held Masters at Politecnico di Milano, Scuola Politecnica di Design and Domus Academy. Member of IDEA, Italian Association of Exhibition Designers Member of AREL, Associazione Real Estate Ladies

ROS

The house, can be defined as young , playful and contemporary, yet dynamic space.
All the spaces are connected with the use of large full height sliding doors that are hidden to highlight visual continuity.
The living area and the large island kitchen overlook a long balcony.
The design of wardrobes continuing to the wall allows one to organise all objects of daily use, leaving aside only furnishings, which are chosen with perfect taste and passion for design. The white space is complimented with furnishings of bright and solid colours.
An elongated custom made multi-functional bench features cabinets and a small and compact home-office/study.
The lamps namely Pistil in living room and Linestra in the corridors and in the room.
The kitchen has facilities that are completely concealed in the wall like the cabinet turning around a maxi island which is well equipped with cabinets and drawers, with a steel top, while the red cylindrical form indicates the centrality of the room.
On the ground an industrial teak wooden floor becomes a tatami texture.
The design of the mosaics of Sicis was custom made in the bathrooms for this project by combining colors in a rhythm.
