MEGA Shopping Mall Interior Redesign in Kazan, the capital of Russia. IKEA Shopping Centres Russia, 2015-2016

Developing the design solution we were looking at natural zig zag shapes, bright blue colour of the water, ice and historical
buildings of Kazan.

Ice Crystals symbolize typical atributes of Scandinavia inspired by ice, snow, vividness, nature’s clarity and transparency with strong connections to Kazan and Russian Winter. Characteristic codes of ice crystals contribute to the commercial upgrades of shopping center MEGA Kazan by using diagonal lines, polygonal shapes and triangles reflecting the crystalic structures of ice and snow, sharp edges, light colours and transparency with an effort to create inspiring and outstanding design.
