/ Margarita Gkika is a greek Architect, member of Technical Chamber of Greece since 2006 Participated in architectural, art and multimedia competitions, seminars and exhibitions: Centre for Mediterranean Architecture, open source 3d design workshop Interspace:Tosmi (Sofia – Bulgaria), International Architectural Competition for a Housing complex in Evia organized by Proteas S.A. (1st prize), 32nd Dramas International short film festival (scenic and costume designer for the movie “Piretos” – E.T.E.K.T. prize). She also participated in the 9th Biennale di Venezia, the 9th Istanbul Biennial and at 7a Sao Paulo bienal de arquitetura. Worked at numerous architectural offices. In 2009 she co-founded the iraisynn.attinom studio. The studio members have designed and implemented small and large scale projects in both urban and rural areas of Greece, France, Belgium and Cyprus. Their field of expertise is architecture, restoration, urban planning, topography, scenic design, graphic design, industrial design, photorealism and creation of virtual reality experiences. The studio has been awarded for their project "arched residencies in santorini island" the Jury Prize in the "Unbuilt hospitality" category at A + AWARDS 2022 organized by the international architectural platform Architizer. The team believes that architecture must be in harmony with the surrounding landscape and the human well-being.
