Odile Decq opened her architecture agence when she obtained her degree in 1978 at la Vilette, she continued her university studies at IEP of Paris and graduated in Urbanism in 1979. She is the laureate « Woman Architect » of the Prize of Women Architects 2013. The worldwide recognition began in 1990, when she had her first very request of the Banque Populaire de l’Ouest in Rennes.

Among her realisation we can list the Viaduc autoroutier of Nanterre, l’UDR of Sciences Eco, and the library of law of the University in Nantes. This uncommon production is awarded by a Lion Golf in Venice in 1996. Between April 2007 and August 2012, she heads the Special School of Architecture. Finaly in 2013, she is awarded by the title of Creator of the Year of the exhibition Maison&Object.
